How to Register

REGISTRATION FEES:

FCB program participants include educators, school and public librarians, experts in the fields of literacy and children's literature, authors and illustrators, parents, students and other children's book lovers.

This year, we're making some changes to our "Conversations with..." program. Rather than five evening events during the year, we'll offer three evening events--one in the fall and two in the spring--and our usual fall and spring Saturday half-day conferences called "What's New in Children's Books?"

FALL 2010

  • $15 for each evening "Conversations with..." event; $5 for students with valid I.D.
  • $75 for each half-day Saturday "What's New in Children's Books?" conference; $25 for students with valid I.D.
  • $80 for both events if you register at the same time--a savings of $10.

Institutional enrollment:

  • $100/program year (Sept.-May)
  • Designed for schools, libraries, or other organizations with several interested participants
  • Eight passes total to use at the three "Conversations with..." events over the program year
  • Discount for up to five attendees at the "What's New in Children's Books?" half-day conferences (each attends at $50 rather than the individual price of $75)

PDP's:

To earn 10 PDP's in 2010-11, you will need to attend all three evening "Conversations with..." events plus one Saturday half-day conference. Or you could attend both Saturday conferences and at least one evening event.
